Tirreno Power is one of the main energy producers in Italy. It was founded in 2003 and currently manages 3 thermoelectric power plants, 4 of which are combined cycle powered by natural gas, and 19 hydroelectric plants with a power of approximately 2,500 MW.
The company’s history has followed a path that naturally leads to sustainability. In recent years the company strategy has focused on continuously improving plant efficiency and environmental performance, as well as on team training, growth and involvement. Through its activity, Tirreno Power has implemented projects and partnerships to enhance the territories where its production plants are located. All these actions have marked precious stages along this path, increasingly oriented towards sustainable development.
Tirreno Power, with the “Energia delle competenze” project, promotes and supports territorial programs that aim to share knowledge and skills in the energy field through constant dialogue with local educational institutions and other companies.
